Drifting Clouds

All living creatures are... the same body, the same life and the same self, continually passing from form to form, from subject to subject, from existence to existence.

An excerpt

How can we live in the post-wild world?

‘Yes, nature is carefully managed national parks and vast boreal forests and uninhabited arctic.’ – Emma Marris, Rambunctious Garden

The Northern Red Muntjac, or barking deer, are tiny species native to South Asia and is the only native deer found in Hong Kong. Muntjac is shy and sensitive to stress-induced conditions. They look fragile but can make a bark-like sound when in danger. She first saw Sasa/ Didi at Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden. They are the orphaned deer raised by the Rescue Centre.

Are they happy living in the garden - the ever-green ferns and broadleaved woodland?

Will they return to the wild?

Will they find a home there?

What is a home to them?

Where is home?
