A Tree Becomes A Forest

This showing marks my initial display since arriving in London in September 2022. Struck by the monumental trees here, so different from those in Hong Kong, I embarked on a mindful practice: sketching one thing daily for 16 days, fostering connections with my new home. This body of work, featuring 16 sketches, is exhibited alongside an etching print and its corresponding copper plate, depicting Hong Kong banyan trees. This comparative approach deepens my understanding of place through attentive observation and analysis.
